David and Janet joined Harnham Free Church in 1988, and have been heavily involved with the leadership and oversight of the church ever since, with David stepping away from a career in education to serve as Lead Pastor between 2002 and 2010.
David and Janet host and lead the midweek West Harnham House Group, and whilst Janet is part of the team that leads the Parent + Toddler Group, David is part of the team that leads our Friday night Impact group and Sunday Clubs!
David has been a long-time trustee at The Bridge Youth Project, whilst also having involvement with Christian Vision for Men.
Jim and Hilary moved to Harnham in 2015, and it wasn't long before both got involved in the spiritual and practical oversight of the church. In 2017, Jim was nominated into the office of Elder, with Hilary as a Deacon.
Jim and Hilary also host and lead the midweek East Harnham House Group, and are regulars at our Coffee Mornings!
Jim also volunteers at The Bridge Youth Project.
Youth and Community Worker
Nick and Sarah have been married for 11 years and are the proud parents of Izzy and Jacob. Having grown up in Kent / South East London, the family moved to Harnham in July 2018.
Nick left his job in accounts in 2015 to pursue a call to church-based ministry and has been involved in different forms of ministry since his return to faith in 2011.
As the Youth and Community Worker at HFC, Nick is involved with many of the groups that take place throughout the life of the church.
God has totally transformed Nick's life and marriage, whilst setting him free from addiction and past hurts - you should totally ask him about it!
Chris started attending HFC in August 2017 and was welcomed into membership on April 1st 2018 (no kidding!), whilst also taking up the role of Administrator at the same time .
Chris has 2 daughters and one son, plus three grandsons and one granddaughter! Chris was born in Cornwall, and after spending 34 years in Preston, Lancashire, moved to Salisbury three and a half years ago... She's gradually getting nearer to 'home'!
